If stubborn tyres won’t fit on the rim, the ROSE tyre mounting pliers can be a practical aid. Where many tyre levers fail, the mounting aid usually manages to mount the unruly tyre with ease thanks to its great leverage. This is gentler on the material and requires less effort than levering with tyre levers.

In addition to the best possible prevention of rim damage, the advantage lies in the secure fit of the pliers contact point on the rim edge. This makes handling easier. When pulling with the upper hook of the pliers to the other side of the rim, it is almost impossible to fit the inner tube. The mounting pliers also help with demounting by pressing the tyre bead out of the rim flange or when removing tubular tyres.

ROSE's bicycle tyre pliers are extremely sturdy, yet remain lightweight and take up very little space in the toolbox. In a backpack or frame bag, they can also be a lifesaver when repairing tyres on the road.

With lightweight rims, work carefully and with moderate leverage. Before fitting, position the circumferential tyre beads in the centre of the rim well if possible.
